Each year the Montgomery County Science Teachers’ Association honors STEM teachers for their contributions to science education in the lives of their students, schools, and communities.
From submitted nominations one elementary, middle, and high school STEM teacher will be selected for this award.
This honor is open to all schools in Montgomery County, public, private, home-school, or charter.
We strongly encourage you to nominate an outstanding teacher for this honor. STEM means different things to different individuals. We encourage you to look at our nomination form for examples of what traits we are interested in seeing.
Winners are announced the following school year at our October Mini-Convention and invited to our end of the year meeting in June to receive a plaque.
Please note: You may nominate a worthy STEM teacher in one of three ways…
1.hand in completed nomination to any MCSTA representative
2. scan and email completed form to rwolff@cheltenham.org
3. complete the online nomination form in the tab above.
